Purdue OWL Graduate School Application Resources

The Purdue OWL is pleased to announce the launch of a new section of resources dedicated to applying to graduate programs. This section currently has resources which provide an overview of the application process, tips on researching potential graduate programs, and writing personal statement specifically for graduate school applications.

Purdue Writing Lab Fall 2012 Writing Lab Workshops

The Purdue Writing Lab is pleased to announce its Fall 2012 Writing Lab Workshop schedule. All of the workshops are free and open to all Purdue University students, faculty, and staff. All Writing Workshops will take place in the Collaborative Study Center in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education (HSSE) Library. HSSE is located on the first floor of Stewart Center on the Purdue University West Lafayette Campus.

The resources cover OWL Mail Policies, General Writing FAQs, MLA Style FAQs, and APA Style FAQs. If you are not finding the information that you need in the resources available on the OWL, we encourage you to check out these FAQs. Purdue OWL MLA and APA Sample Paper Update

The Purdue OWL is pleased to annouce that we have updated our MLA and APA sample papers. The new sample papers provide more detail on working with various levels of headings, as well as working with appendixes (MLA)/appendices (APA).

Purdue OWL Plagiarism and ESL Writers

Purdue OWL Purdue SURF Program Workshop Resources

The OWL is pleased to announce the addition of a new resource designed as part of the Purdue Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) Program Writing Workshops. This resource is the first to be created for our new Writing in the Purdue SURF Program section. This resource covers how to write effective problem statements in Purdue SURF Program writing assignments.
