Purdue Writing Lab Spring 2011 Hours
The Purdue Writing Lab is open for tutoring during the spring semester in three locations.

-Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 6:00pm
-Friday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Hicks, UGRL Room G959 Satellite Location Hours (drop-in only):
-Monday: 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Meredith Hall Satellite Location Hours (drop-in only):
-Wednesday: 7:00pm - 10:00pm

Purdue Writing Lab Brown Bag Spring 2011 Schedule
If you are a Purdue English 106 or 108 instructor on the West Lafayette campus, please mark your calendars for the Spring 2011 Brown Bag Series. These brown bag workshops offer opportunities for English 106 and 108 instructors to share pedagogical strategies and materials for their composition classrooms. This year the workshops will take place on Wednesdays from 12:30pm - 1:30pm in the Writing Lab, Heavilon 226. Dates and topics are listed below:

Purdue Writing Lab ESL Conversation Group Spring 2011 Schedule
The Purdue Writing Lab's ESL Conversation Groups will be held on the following days in Heavilon Hall 226 during Spring 2011:
Mondays: 2:00pm - 3:00pm
Tuesdays: 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Wednesdays: 11:00am - 12:00pm
Thursdays: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Fridays: 10:30am - 11:30am

Purdue Writing Lab Workshop Requests
If you are a Purdue University-West Lafayette instructor, TA, or professor, you may be interested in requesting an in-class workshop from the Writing Lab. The workshops cover a variety of common writing concerns, such as APA documentation, MLA documentation, and visual rhetoric.

Purdue University Writing Lab and OWL Receive Gates Grant
The Purdue University Writing Lab and OWL have received a $1.5 million grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop an interactive writing tool to help high school students transition to college writing.
