Semicolons are a commonly misunderstood and misused punctuation mark. Parts 1 and 2 provide the most common rules for their use, as well as explain their function. The Advanced vidcast provides more examples of how to use a semicolon for greater effect.
Because these vidcasts cover a large amount of information, the voice-over is very fast. To get the most out of these vidcasts, we suggest viewing them multiple times and pausing frequently. We are currently working on longer, slower, more detailed versions.
