Sample APA Papers: Experimental Report

PLEASE NOTE: The sample here is in the old APA format. We are updating them Summer 2008 and they will be available shortly.

This section offers sample pages from a master's thesis reporting on a psychological experiment, written by an graduate psychology student at Purdue University. Since it's a real paper written by a real student, we haven't corrected the student's errors, but have instead included comments that point them out.

We've marked up the paper with sample comments from various psychology teachers that comment on the paper's format, content, and use of APA style. For complete information on APA style, please see our APA Style Guide and APA workshop.
